Who operates Maritime Bridge?
Maritime Bridge — Maritime & Yachts Careers is the international careers brand operated through Menorca Brokers. Menorca Brokers is a trading name used by a self-employed individual (autónomo / sole trader) established in Spain; it is not presented here as a limited company. The legal service provider and, for the platform's own candidate database, the data controller is the natural person identified in the operator details above. Maritime Bridge and Menorca Brokers are commercial names, not separate legal persons.
Your choices
- Control future-opportunity matching: open your candidate dashboard, then Manage talent profile; uncheck the optional discoverability box and save. This stops matching by Maritime Bridge staff for future vacancies.
- Delete your PDF CV: open Manage CV in the candidate dashboard and select Delete my CV.
- Update professional details: edit your account and talent profile settings.
- Make a request: contact for access, correction, account erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent. The service must verify identity proportionately before disclosure or deletion.
Response timing
Under GDPR Art. 12(3), requests are generally answered within one month, with a permitted extension in complex cases if the user is informed. Some records may need to be retained if legally required.
Account deletion
Self-service deletion of the full user account is not yet automated. Contact the controller to request account deletion. The operator must implement an operational procedure for erasing relevant database records, private CV objects and authentication records, subject to lawful retention.
Complaints
Where competent, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your supervisory authority.
