Who operates Maritime Bridge?

Maritime Bridge — Maritime & Yachts Careers is the international careers brand operated through Menorca Brokers. Menorca Brokers is a trading name used by a self-employed individual (autónomo / sole trader) established in Spain; it is not presented here as a limited company. The legal service provider and, for the platform's own candidate database, the data controller is the natural person identified in the operator details above. Maritime Bridge and Menorca Brokers are commercial names, not separate legal persons.

Purpose and site ownership

Maritime Bridge operates a public maritime job-discovery and education website at maritime-bridge.com. Vacancies lead to their original recruitment websites. Public candidate and employer registration and direct applications are disabled. Sole-owner invitations may be prepared for future services, without enabling CV uploads or employer access to candidate profiles. The trade name does not replace the legal duty to identify its individual owner.

Publisher information

Under Article 10 of Spain’s Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), the operator must publicly identify their business name, address, contact details and additional registrations, where applicable. The statutory legal identity and service address must be complete and accurate at all times. Any prices, company registration and professional authorisation information required for your actual business must also be published.

Our limited role in vacancies

Maritime Bridge currently publishes screened public job advertisements with external application links. It does not collect applications, forward CVs or candidate lists, or give employers access to a candidate database. Employers control their own vacancies, recruitment decisions and employment contracts. Future active recruitment services require separate approval and updated legal disclosures.

Employment intermediation and maritime recruitment

Not signing employment contracts does not by itself place the activities outside recruitment/intermediation law. Simply publishing external links and actively forwarding candidate applications may be regulated differently. However, matching candidates with employers or offering placement services may bring the activity within Spanish Law 3/2023 on Employment and the corresponding SOIB declaration process. For recruitment and placement of seafarers, the Maritime Labour Convention 2006 (Regulation 1.4 and Standard A1.4) may impose additional requirements. The operator must validate the precise operating model and any administrative steps before enabling live placement services. Candidate-facing job-finding and placement services are intended to be free of charge.
